rampstyle#18 – La pensée sauvage
If our lives go according to plan, we'll be happy. Didn't I? Well, yeah. When everything is predictable, there is no room for spontaneity. Which brings us to Claude Lévi-Strauss and his work »La pensée sauvage« (»Wild Thinking«). In it, the French ethnologist compares the rational engineer with the Bricoleur, who creatively mixes what is given. We did it! We visited the music producer legend Franz Plasa, talked to Mick Jagger, Colin Farrell and the wakeboard world champion Dominik Gührs - and looked around at the Porsche meeting »Luftgekühlt« in Hollywood. Oh, one more thing: MacGyver also appears quite often in this issue.
